If small businesses are ever going to survive the challenges of the new economy, they’ll need to access the world of tomorrow.
The world of business has been turned upside down, especially for smaller enterprises that only have a few employees to begin with. Health care, infrastructure, and shipping coasts soar through the roof as markets shrink. Every dollar takes more investment to make than just a few years before. How can a small business survive these types of challenges, maintaining a reasonable profit that’s sustainable?
Costs need to be cut, and as a result layoffs have become common. Small businesses are not immune from these cuts, but there are other savings to consider before you’re forced to let employees go. Where can costs be cut? One expense that promises the greatest savings lies right in your phone line. By switching to Internet phone systems, small phone systems can substantially reduce their long distance fees while improving their technological advantages.
Think about how much you spend on long distance. It’s become a global economy, even for the small business, and overseas calls as well as calls across the country can rack up quite a substantial long distance bill, one that’s unpredictable at that. Imagine being able to virtually eliminate your long distance as all calls made within your provider’s network are free, and calls after that only cost 3 cents a minute after the monthly allotted minutes have been used up. Clients that you speak with frequently who use the same system won’t cost you any long distance, as will office extensions that require frequent long distance minutes.
Small phone systems can also vastly improve their technological capabilities through Internet phone systems. In this digital age where computers have become an essential wave of communication, an Internet phone line relies on computer programming, rather than an actual phone line. The system adapts easily, requiring only different programming to alter the entire system according to your customized needs. Manage and customize your system easily from any computer with less time than it takes to check your email.
Cut your costs to stay competitive, beginning with your long distance. VoIP technology puts the technological advantages at your fingertips with greater savings than outdated phone services can offer.

Respecting those who serve stretches beyond political lines. No matter who we may have voted for President, we are proud of the men and women who serve under the command of that office. Politics should stay out of military tributes. Honoring those who fought and sacrifice comes before political ideologies and party lines.
Democrat or Republican, peace protestor or hawk of heroism, honoring members of our military is an important patriotic duty of every American citizen who enjoys the freedoms our courageous men and women so honorably fought for. An opinion on whether or not Americans belong in Iraq has no basis on the honor given to the brave men and women who serve there.
Military medals should be worn honorably because they are tributes to the sacrifices of America’s bravest. Our political ideologies are separate from that honor. American soldiers deserve our respect, no matter whom we vote for, no matter which political party gets our tax-exempt contribution. Military ribbons pay tribute to the sacrifices that allow us political independence in the first place.
It’s the winners in the arena of politics that command the military. Military medals pay tribute to those fine men and women who carry out their duties under the authority of the leaders we’ve elected. Political debate is necessary to any democratic society, but it should not happen at a price of respecting American soldiers. Military ribbons bestow a tribute of honor.
Where would those politicians be without the safety and security our brave men and women deliver on the field? Imagine Washington full of politicians without an American military. They’d have no legs to stand on. An enemy nation could invade without ever firing a shot. Politicians rely on the sanctity of the American military. Truly, they protect our freedoms with their very lives.
We all may differ when it comes to the political arena, but honoring those who protect our very freedom to be political should never be taken for granted. Sacrifice deserves a parade. Military ribbons and Military medals may be a humble means of thanks, but sometimes gratitude is the best tribute that can be paid. Be political second, but patriotic first. Honor your country by thanking a vet, even if it’s just a handshake and a thank-you. We all owe more than we can give. We cannot thank them enough.

The unspoken fact is they don’t have to. Sure, a new engine from a Ford dealer has a high price and no miles, but the reality is, you can get a low mileage rebuilt engines with considerable performance at the fraction of the price of a new one. Thankfully with the Internet, finding one online at a decent price is easy. With online auto parts, high performance and low prices go hand in hand. You can get a quality used engine at a low price, giving your vehicle further years of pleasure and running.
Your car dealer is charging you too much. That’s just how sales contests are played. Anything new will cost you 2 to 3 times what you’d pay for rebuilt engines. Really, it’s a useless asset to put a new engine in a used car, as you won’t get the full performance out of the engine to equal the life of the car.
What you have to understand is that “used” is relative. You can really get a low mileage engine that’s practically new, paying far cheaper than you’d ever have paid at a dealership. It’s common to find perfectly good used engines with hardly any miles from wrecks that didn’t affect the engine of the vehicle. Then you get a quality engine that will last the life of the car for a efficient price than a new one would have cost. For several hundred dollars, you can see your vehicle perform well for years.
Of course, it does you no good to buy the incorrect engine, so it’s always best to work with an online shop that has years of experience and truly knows cars. They’ll be able to get you exactly what you want with the first order. They can also systematically guide you through the process of replacing an engine.
If you go with a shop that offers a detailed guarantee, you’ll be safe from lemons. You’ll get plenty of performance for a low price. The engines are inspected and insured against failure, sometimes even for the life of the vehicle. Get back on the road for a few hundred dollars. With quality used engines from an online shop, you can get your vehicle back up and running for the going price of a hunk of bolts at a used car lot.
